I have written a number of Web Applications which run on customer's websites in a password protected portal.
This app, written for a multi-site Accountancy firm, enables the recording of client fees with an interface into Sage for billing. It contains a full management reporting package with output to Excel Spreadsheets. New Clients and lost clients are also recorded and the information distributed to the relevant staff.
This app was extended to include an facility to send daily emails to staff reporting on their phone usage, with client information to assist with billing. This is achieved by the website automatically responding to a report sent from the Phone System, which includes all calls and staff, and splitting it for each member of staff with their calls totalled by client which is then emailed to the staff members.
I have written two systems which manage membership of organisations. One is a horticultural society and the other a Neighbourhood Watch Association. Both apps perform the same function but have been customised for each to their own requirement. Common features include the recording of members and payments, issuing of renewal forms and the generation of a Gift Aid spreadsheet in the format required by HMRC.
The recruitment app enables the recording of clients and candidates. The system facilitates the selection of candidates for interview all the way through to invoicing the client. Using a web app is of particular use to these companies as they don't have a centralised office a,d the recruiters generally work from home.

This deceptively simple app allows the recording of business cards/contacts onto a database and includes a comprehensive search facility. It was written to enable a local business to keep track of people met in various business referral groups. It has since been updated to include a mobile web interface which enables the search for contacts while out of the office. It has a facility for adding the cards from the database into your phone address book.
Once client needed as way of making daily stats information available to it's staff. A simple intranet app was developed to run on a Synology NAS box which displays the information using a spreadsheet as the data source.
